Let’s Talk About Love Island | Rewired Clothing

We’ve been calling Summer 2021 the summer of love for some time now, frankly we can’t wait to delve back into some form of real life again, be that at the pub watching the Euro’s, or at home, binge watching Love Island and throwing ourselves back to the carefree good old days. Make the most of that new sofa and cocktail shaker set you bought over lockdown with Love Island 2021.

2021 see’s the seventh edition of ITV’s hit reality TV show, Love Island. This year is promising to be more popular than ever before, thanks to the fact the show got cut last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic and of course, due to the fact we’ve all been craving some summer sun ourselves. Presented once again by the incredible Laura Whitmore with Iain Stirling on narrating duties, it’s going to be fun, dramatic, full of plot twists and of course, exciting!

This year it has been confirmed that the show will be based in Spain, with the Villa that is going to be used, located on the stunning island of Majorca. There is also a rumour going around which suggests a reserve villa has been booked on Jersey, just in case the worst should happen and the pandemic gets in the way of filming once again - this means that is nothing else, some version of Love Island will be going ahead this year, which is great news for us all.

Airing in June 2021, we’re now getting very close to knowing more about who is going to be starring in this years show, but we do know that during the start of 2021 there have been over 100,000 applications, meaning the team at ITV have had a mammoth task of whittling the cast down to just a handful of people. Due to the pandemic and the events of the past year, we’re expecting to see loads of people who have been involved somehow, be that more Doctors and Nurses involved, and more professionals who have had a hand to play in protecting the nation of the past year.

No, we’re not expecting Boris to make an appearance, although let’s face it, that would be pretty funny.
